Olayinka Atilola is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and an associate professor of psychiatry affiliated with the Department of Behavioural Medicine, Lagos State University. His main area of interest is in theoretical models in child psychiatry research, cross-cultural validity and measurement invariance in child psychiatry, mental-health service needs of children within the youth correctional systems, pragmatic approaches to school mental health services, and early intervention identification of neurodevelopmental disorders. Other areas of research interest include trans-cultural psychiatry, occupational mental-health, and field epidemiology of mental disorders.
Olayinka is a Young Physician Leader of the World Academy of Science and co-founder of the ICMH-SG.
